The weekend!!!

T.G.I.F!!!!

Busy weekend for this girl.. The boyfriend and I are about to hit up Bass Pro Shops to get some more hunting stuff for opening day of rifle season!  Yes, I WILL get a buck this year! I'm so glad I have found a man that loves the outdoors just as much as I do.  Tomorrow my cousin is getting married in Clarksville so we will be putting on our dancing shoes.  I will be posting pictures later in the weekend.  Just wanted to tell everyone to have a good weekend. :)

A Little Fall Treat!

Okay everyone!  I have attempted to make a few goodies the past couple of weeks.  Some have been a hit and one that I wish would have turned out a little better!  But practice is key.  Anyways, just wanted to share a few recipes with y'all.  Thanks to Pinterest for the ideas.  

Here is what you need to get started. 

Step by step instructions:

-Gather all the things you need.

-In a small or medium saucepan, on low and put half the bag of chocolate morsels over heat to melt.

( I placed everything on different plates so it was all organized, I had me a little system going.)

-After the morsels melt, dip the kiss in the melted chocolate and place it on the nutter butter.

-Then you barely dip the itty bitty morsel in the melted chocolate and put it in the middle of the nutter butter.  

Then you get....

I took them to two parties and to work the next day and let me tell ya.. They were a hit!! It IS time consuming but they are such a cute and fun idea for the fall.  I used 2 bags of nutter butters, one bag of mini morsels (still had some left over), and a bag and a half of kisses and I made about 140 cookies.

Okay, so I posted in my about me last night that I live in my own apartment with 2 other girls so I figured I would show off a few things in my apartment so everyone will know where I lay my head at  night.  I have lived in this apartment for about a year and a half, so far I have loved it but it's different having to be a responsible adult and do everything for yourself.  When I have children I will tell them to NEVER move out cause you don't have a home cooked meal every night like they used to! Now every time I go to my parents house I always make momma have a yummy dinner cooked! 

 But here it is...

I also have a pretty good size walk in closet..but it's not spotless at the moment so we will leave that out. ;) Kitchen was dirty at the time (go figure)!!  I can NOT stand being messy! I can't wait to live on my own so everything will be perfect and will not have to pick up after anyone.  ((but of course I'll pick up after my husband and kids when I get to that point in my life))  But anyways..
